Note to Self...

...Don't walk around in newly furnished bedroom with the lights off.

Story:

Well the kids have been pretty sick since last night. I was up most of the night with Nathan, who was hacking, crying, and throwing up due to the thickness of his phlegm. So there was a clothing change around midnight followed by bathing at 5 am along with changing of the bedding(not to mention the soothing and rocking in between). Basically I was up most of the night.

So a little bit ago I put Nathan in bed and walked in to our room to grab some chapstick. The lights were off and I was thinking of the things I needed to get done before bed. I walked out of the bathroom and SMACK right into the new dresser! It hurt SO BAD! I stubbed a few of my toes and scraped my arm and hand up. It took my a second to realize what I had hit. I felt so dumb! I blame my tiredness. It actually hurts to type so...The End

Bummer! Those dang dressers...they always just jump right out and get ya. Sorry about the kids. Let me know if you need any help.

That is always the worst when your kids are sick. I love your new bedroom set! We had a suitcase sitting in our hall a few weeks ago and Brooklyn and I were sound asleep when I heard the loudest loud. I sat straight up thinking something had happened to one of the girls and then I heard Sean start moaning. It was dark and it had tripped right over the suitcase and jammed a couple of his toes pretty good- so he can totally sympathize with you!

Dang it, I know how that feels! I wouldn't done the same thing if I were as tired as you were. You poor thing. I hope the kids feel better AND sleep better tonight!

Ow!! Before we got this place under control after we moved, this front room was like a landmine to try to walk through in the dark. It doesn't help when you're deliriously tired.

Hope everyone is better soon!

Hey! Thanks for you comment on my "name game" post...I know you totally understand how crazy it can drive me when people try to shorten our children's names! :) Thanks again!
