Yesterday Ava turned 5 months old! I can't believe how fast the time has flown by. She is such a sweet, fun little girl.
When we were up in Utah last she started to get out of control(crying all the time, wanting to be held constantly, etc.). I was worried that it was how she was going to be from then on. Luckily it was just a phase- we were gone for 10 days, totally off our schedules, and she got shots while we were there too so I can understand why she was acting that way.
I am happy to say that she is acting like her self again. She is really such a good baby. I know that our families probably think we are liars after seeing her a few weeks ago. To prove my point, yesterday I noticed that her two bottom teeth are about to break through the skin. I had no idea she was even teething. She hasn't been fussy, and she has been sleeping all night (as usual). I hope she is this way while the rest of her teeth come in.
Ava still hasn't mastered rolling over, although while I was typing this post she was asleep on the floor. I heard her start to wake up and she started crying a little. The couch was blocking my view of her, but when I got up to get her she had rolled from her back onto her belly! She loves to sit up and stand (with help). She loves to eat real food. We have only given her rice cereal, but we are ready to move on to oatmeal, and then we will try the fruits and veggies. She loves to watch Nathan and smiles so big whenever he is around. She thinks he is so funny and will laugh at ANYTHING he does. I am so glad they get along well. Nathan just adores her. I have had people say, "I just want to take her home with me..." and Nathan gets really upset and says, "No, she is MY sister!" He loves to lay on the floor with her and talk/play with her. I hope they are always close. 
The past month has been hard with everything that is going on financially and I am just so grateful for my two beautiful, healthy, sweet babies (and Tyler too). I love them so much!

What a sweet picture of the kids! I really can't believe Ava is 5 months already. I'll bet you weren't expecting teeth since Nathan took forever to get his. I'm glad they're not seeming to bother her much, though. It is so funny to watch her laugh at Nathan.

She is a sweet one! That is an adorable picture of Nathan and Ava together as well. Such fun ages!!

Wow, that went by fast!!! She sounds like such a great kid, I hope I get one of those... :)It's so cute that they're little friends!
What beautiful babies! I am sure Nathan would say " I am NOT a Baby"! You know what I mean. We sure miss you guys!! It was nice to visit with you the other day. Sorry I have done nothing but vent every time we have talked.
