Tyler bought me the lamp last Christmas. It was a nice floor lamp, with a dimmer, fluorescent bulb, that is supposed to be very energy efficient, not to mention that it cost about $50.
When it fell the shade and bulb shattered, and glass was everywhere! It even flew up on top of our bed. It was a huge mess. I am just so glad the kids weren't in the way when it happened.
I tried to contact the manufacturer today, but couldn't find any info. So I called Lowe's(which is where Tyler bought it). The manager said we could bring it in and exchange it for the same thing. Now we have a new lamp, and it better not fall over. It was seriously so scary.
And in case you were wondering~ we are getting settled, and the kids feel right at home here at my parents. After $300 and hours at the DMV we are now "official" Utah residents again. I am not sure how long we will be here, but so far it hasn't been that bad. Everything is cheaper here, so that has been nice. Our car and health insurance premiums are now more then 50% less. Oh and sales tax is 2% less too. Maybe I will have to do a pros and cons list for a post...

Glad that you are getting settled. Cory will be coming to Vegas at the end of February for the NASCAR Race.
Man, you guys are on top of it...we have been back from San Fran for a month and haven't made it to the DMV--shhh.
There are many reasons I'm glad to be back too. I can actually buy a dozen eggs for less than $5 and rent isn't equal to the mortgage of a small mansion!

Eeeeek! That would be so scary! Way to get a new lamp out of it, too. I would have just thrown my hands up, been angry, and went and bought a new lamp. I'm so happy that things are working out for you guys!
We will have to get our kiddos together to play now that you just live a few minutes away!

Good to hear that you guys are getting settled in Utah. And I'm glad that you got a new lamp. That must've been SO scary. Utah isn't sounding so bad. I just know we're going to have such a hard time leaving my parents here, but it's looking like we will be moving somewhere within the next 6 months. This trucking wife stuff is REALLY hard!!!
