The next day was Ava's birthday! Yep, my baby is 4!
We started the morning off with waffles at the hotel, opened presents (Nathan made her the cutest card ever- I cried) then headed to LEGOLAND! Our hotel was just a few minutes away, and Legoland was pretty much right on the beach. The rides were not as great as Disneyland but the lines (or lack thereof) were awesome! We rode every ride we wanted to and some we did twice. There was no fighting to walk, or park either. Most of the rides were pretty basic, but they did have a couple real roller coasters, which we loved. And the best part- Ava was big enough to ride EVERY ride!
They had this water ride that said "You Will Get Very Wet"- I was thinking like Splash Mountain wet. WRONG! It was like - being thrown in a freezing pool with all your clothes on, wet.
Look how wet we are! At least we did it when it was warm out...
We had hopper tickets so we also got to check out their aquarium and touch some starfish. We left just before closing (5pm) so we could get cleaned up before heading to dinner. Ava wanted Mexican food. We found this place called Cocina Del Charro- it was so yummy.
Then we headed back to the hotel for rainbow cupcakes.
It was a great day.

Now that is an awesome birthday. You're going to have a hard time topping that one!! Looks like so much fun! (Except for the getting wet part...)
