After the bride and groom left for Vegas, Josh decided we should all go on a "little" hike out near Kayenta to see some petroglpyhs. I thought I would have a hard time convincing Tyler, but he said, OK so off we went.  To Josh 3 miles is a little hike- he and Sarah go on ones that take a couple days, but we are wusses so yeah it was long.

The weather was perfect. It was overcast but warm for most of it.  The petroglyphs were amazing and so was the view! Some of the drawings are so huge! I am so glad we went!

Tyler knows alot about these types of things and was giving us all a lesson on why petroglyphs all look similar from all over the world. He's a smarty.

And the eagle in that one? Josh is standing on its beak.

Ava started to get really scared with Josh on the edge of the rocks. We were right near the cliff edge. We all had a lot of fun and slept really well that night.

3 miles is a long hike, haha. The petroglyphs are so cool! I seem to remember going there in high school. We should check them out with our kids.
