I was tagged by Shelly and since it has been awhile I thought I better do it!
Side note: Since I only had brothers growing up I felt more comfortable having friends that were boys, plus girls never really liked me much (maybe because I was friends with the boys?) Anyway I was good friends with Shelly's hubby growing up and it has been fun to get to know her and see what they are up to.
Her are the questions she tagged me with:
- What is your favorite article of clothing? Well...since I am a stay at home mom/nanny my wardrobe is pretty boring. That being said I love this one pair of dark jeans. I can dress them up or down, and they are super comfy but fit and look great!
- What is your favorite childhood memory? I have lots of great memories of summers in Mexico with my grandparents, brothers, and cousin. I used to spend every summer there as a kid. I am dying to go back and show my kids where I spent so much time.
- Scariest moment of your life? A few months ago I came home from work and had 2 missed calls on the house phone and 2 voicemails from Nathan's school. I was curious why they didn't call my cell, and started listening to the voicemails which proceeded to tell me that "My child was not present at school" and to please call the school as soon as possible. TALK ABOUT HEART ATTACK. I felt my heart drop and was so sick to my stomach because I always wait until I see him get on the bus and the bus drive away, and KNEW he got on the bus. Turns out the school alert system had a glitch, it was supposed to call and remind me of an early out day.... Definitely gut-wrenchingly scary.
- If your friends and acquaintances were willing to bluntly tell you what they really think of you, would you want them to? Why or why not? No thanks. I have a few blunt acquaintances, and I am pretty sure even they hold back a little, I think having a few blunt friends is a good thing. Would I want all my friends to be that way? No thanks. I am plenty aware of my flaws and don't need them pointed out.
- What is your favorite month of the year? I love March & April when the weather starts to warm a little and things start to bloom.
- Favorite restaurant? Tyler says my favorite is Olive Garden or Village Inn. I don't know that I really have one favorite. Red Robin and Durangos are on the list for sure though.
- Favorite number? 7
- What is the nicest thing anyone has ever said to you? Someone told me once (after singing) that I should be a Disney princess.
- What is your favorite Disney movie? Tangled! Love, love that movie. So glad I have a little girl so I have an excuse to watch princess movies :)

Love it! Haven't seen any tagging posts in a while. I didn't know about that phone call from the school! That is nuts!! I would have spazzed out for sure.
I also love Tangled, I bawl through half the movie. Madelyn and I just watched Brave tonight and I SWEAR she and I are exactly like Elinor and Merida. The dynamics of our relationship are pretty much everything you see in the movie. LOL!
You would be the perfect disney princess! : ) Loved reading these. I wish were still a couple streets away.
