Two Weeks Diaper FREE!!!

I am so proud of our little man! I think it is safe to say: He is POTTY TRAINED!

(You can totally tell he is saying "Cheese!")

Here is the scoop:

About a year ago we bought a little potty chair for him, with all the bells and whistles. He lost interest in it pretty quick. Over the past year he would start to show interest in going like a big boy, but nothing ever came of it. We didn't want to pressure him because they say it will backfire BIG TIME. So we would just ask him every once in a while if he wanted to go, and sometimes he would say "Yes" and other times he would say "No".

In the past couple of months he really started to become more aware, and would ask to be changed IMMEDIATELY after going in his diaper- even if it were just a tiny bit wet. Then we noticed that he was staying dry all through the night. Tyler was getting up with Nathan ( so I could get some extra rest), and whenever Tyler would go in to use the bathroom, Nathan would say, "I want to go first!" And he would go! So we decided to go right for undies. Nathan didn't like Pull Ups, and we thought they felt too much like diapers for it to make a difference (too bad I bought and had opened a HUGE box from Costco first). We bought him special CARS undies, and said that if he did really good, that he could wear those ones, and he was so excited!

I still have to remind him sometimes that he might need to go in and go. But he has been doing so well. When I ask if he needs help, he says, "No I can do it by myself," And he goes in and shuts the door in my face. hehehe In 2 weeks he was only had 2 accidents, and I they were both in the first week. It is so cute to see him running around in his little undies, and we are just so proud of him. We love you Nathan!

We were all in the singles ward together before we got married but Tyler knew her for a while before that.

I am so impressed, Nathan! And you look so much like your daddy in that picture. Can you teach Madelyn? She like to practice sitting on her potty, but she won't actually go on it.

hahaha! Cute little man undies! Congrats on the potty training! That's so awesome! I heard boys are supposed to be impossible to potty train so I've been stressing out about it...but this made me feel MUCH better!

Oh, and I tagged you, so go see my blog to see what you have to do. :)

See you in a few weeks, love ya!
