23 Weeks

Here I am again... This time at 23 weeks.

I feel HUGE! I know it may not look like much, but I am already having a hard time just bending down to tie Nathan's shoes, or pick stuff up. I told Tyler I wish I had pictures of when I was pregnant with Nathan. I feel like the shape of my belly is different, like it sticks out more, even though I haven't gained more weight then I had at this point with Nathan.
So for the past few weeks I have been having charlie horses EVERY NIGHT. I usually sleep kind of in a ball, so then when I stretch my legs straight I will get them in one or both legs. They hurt so bad. I think I scared Tyler so bad the other night. I hurried and woke him up so he could help me straighten out, and he had been sound asleep. I even got one while walking down the stairs the other morning...that could be bad. I am sure they are pregnancy related. Maybe it even has something to do with my sciatic nerve, I don't know.

Wow, you have started to show a lot more! Your belly is sticking our a little more than with Nathan. It looks like you just have a basketball under your shirt, but with Nathan, it was more rounded all over.

Anyway, you look cute! Sorry about the charlie horses. They usually are triggered by a sudden change in position. Make sure you're getting all your electrolytes! (potassium, calcium) Those things kill.

Yeah!!! You found us!!! My OB said that one cause of Charlie Horses is not enough calcium. (I notice that someone else has that too.) I had a ton of them with McKenna and only a couple with Cason. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. Stay in touch. I hope it's okay I added your blog as a link in mine for easy access.

I HATE those things, they are so painful! Hopefully they go away! You look adorable! I love the little belly!

Oh, I feel your pain. I had those with Zoee and that was one of the first things I worried about when I got pregnant with Gus. They would keep me up at night and sometimes I would just cry because they hurt so bad. Luckily, I didn't have them that bad with Gus. Maybe it happens more when you have a girl. Who knows. You sure do look cute. I hope all is going well.

I'm glad you found my blog! Congrats on being pregnant! You have such a cute LITTLE belly! I hate getting leg cramps!!!! I got them so much with Aaralyn, but this time I thought I wasn't going to get any, then just the other night I got one... ahh... hopefully I'll just be done soon and I'll skip that aweful part! I hope they don't continue for the rest of your pregnancy! Just get your hubby to give you lots of leg rubs, maybe that will help loosen them up!

I think that when you get those leg cramps, you quickly point your toes upward toward you. I think. That helped me at least. I hated that siatic nerve thing! It still gets me every once in a while in my very low back! I hate it. Sudden shooting pain and I can't move. It's not going to be fun to be old.

You look so cute! I had the worst charlies when I was pregnant. I jumped up so fast one night, and scared the crap - ola out of my Tyler. I made him massage it out for me. The things us women have to put up with...men have it so easy!! :)

I am getting them real bad too and I am sorry to hear that you have them, but glad to hear that they are normal because I don't know anything about this whole pregnant thing. Sometimes mine get so bad at night have to walk around for about 15 mins to get them to relax. Yuck!

You are tiny and so cute pregnant! I love your little belly! I got some bad Charlie Horses with Madilyn, they are the worst, especially waking you up in the middle of the night! You have my sympathy!
