I made 18 Flannel/Terry Cloth burp cloths, here are the 3 different patterns:
They all have the same green terry back, and a story to go along with it...
I went to the fabric store and picked out all my stuff. I was going to do a different back on each one, and then thought "Hmm, if I do them all with the same back, then I can use my 40% Off Coupon on the entire 3 yards..." So I decided to do that. When it was finally my turn at the cutting ocunter and I noticed a weird stain near the beginning, so I asked the lady to take a look at it, and cut off the edge. Then the lady noticed that there was a bleach line all the way through the crease. She said that would not work, so to go and see if there was more of it. I told her it was not a big deal, and she offered it to me at 75% Off! I knew that the bleach line would not even be on my burpies, and that I didn't need a continuous solid piece of material, and gladly took it! The terry cloth usually goes for $5.99 a yard, but I got all three yards for a total of $5.20! I WAS SUPER EXCITED!!!
I also decided to make my own nursing cover. I was able to make it for, well I don't want to tell you how much, because I may start making them to sell...ANYWAY... I think it turned out pretty cute:
I have also been painting the name sign for the baby's room. I need to attach some cute ribbon before I let you see that, but it is so cute!
Now I just need to make some cute headbands, and start the Blessing Dress. I have all the stuff to get started, but I think I will wait, on the dress at least. I am a little nervous... Hurry back Mom so you can help me!

Cute projects! You are so crafty. I could never make something like that. Let me know how much you are selling the "Hooter Hider" for I will problem want to purchase one. Keep up the good work!
Way Cute! I wish I was a whiz on the sewing machine. As it is every time I make a project, like Cason's curtain or crib skirt...I end up spending so much time on it that I would rather just buy the thing.
My sister made me two covers, I love them a ton, only she made them with a cotton/flannel I think-anyway they are HOT. Good Luck with selling them, and don't feel bad for however much you charge because you spend your time on it so you should be paid enough to make it worth your while.
You are amazing! I am very impressed. I am not a sewer, but it is always fun to see what people do when they know how. We missed you guys while you were gone. It was fun to spend time with you tonight. Dinner was awesome. Thanks again.
You are super talented! I can't even sew a straight line!
I love all the fabrics you chose! Everything turned out so CUTE. I'd buy a nursing cover from you. Join the bandwagon and set up an etsy shop. (well, I guess you'd need to build up your inventory first...)
Keep us posted on that.
Wow, you have been so busy! I love all of the fun projects you have been doing. I can't wait to see the name board and blessing dress :)
