We apologize for being such terrible bloggers lately. Here is what we have been up to:

Tyler's sister Maria got married this past Friday in the St. George Temple.  We headed up the week before so we could be there when she went through for her first time. We didn't want to have to drive home and then back up there again a few days later, so we stayed up there for 8 DAYS!

On Saturday, after Maria's temple day, we got in the van with my folks, and headed to my Grandparents cabin in Kolob. It was beautiful!  I don't think I have been up there this early in the year before- everything was so green, and it was still cold. It was nice to get to visit with my cousins from AZ and have a relaxing evening with everyone...I can't believe I didn't take any pictures that day.

We spent the next few days with my family swimming, BBQing, shopping, and having fun. Nathan loved being in "nature" with his Papa. They picked fruit, caught birds (they were caught in the fruit tree netting...), went for walks, and played outside without burning up.  The weather was great, and you could leave windows open, or be outside and actually enjoy it. My mom took care of the kids the entire time, so I got to just sit around and rest. I tried to do things for them but she wouldn't let me... she spoiled them with kisses, by rocking them to sleep, and giving them goodies. I told her that now I have to re-train the kids, and she just laughed and said she doesn't like her babies to cry, and that is what grandmas do.  Nathan cried a good part of the drive home saying, "I miss my Grandma Rosie..." I guess he had a good time.

The 2nd half of the week was spent with Tyler's family. We did more swimming, LOTS of eating and a ton of visiting.  The kids had lots of fun with Madelyn and Hattie. Nathan and Madelyn played dress up, and ran around like little monkeys, and I think they only got in 1 argument the entire time!  It is so cute to watch them run around together. Madelyn really loved being able to play with Ava too.  She kept saying , "I love her cheek..." then she would stroke it. How cute is that? Not both cheeks, just the one.

Friday was the big day! It was such a nice day for a wedding. We all thought it was going to be super hot, but it was actually cool out.  Maria and Shay are such a cute couple and we love them lots.

Here is a slide show of the week:

I think Ava has both Mark and Madelyn wrapped around her little finger. They couldn't get enough of that cute little angel! I hope we'll get to see you again soon! (But not THAT soon...you need to remember what your own bed feels like...)
