You may (or may not) know that I don't take pictures. I am always saying "Dang, I should have brought my camera!" or I remember to bring it but never get it out of my bag.
SIDE NOTE ***My bag weighs about a million pounds and whenever we go places I seem to always end up lugging around way too much stuff and then my arm feels like it is going to fall off. This may be one of the reasons I always "forget" to grab the camera, who knows.
Our old point and shoot camera was kind of bulky, and you had to use AA batteries for it so they were always dying after taking only a few pics. Then I bought some fancy batteries (at $2 per battery- yuk!) I didn't want to have to keep buying those so we decided to get a new camera. It took pretty good pictures, and we were thankful for it (because it was a gift) but it was time for a new one. I love the new one. It is small and sleek, it can fit in my pocket, the battery is rechargeable, it takes the pictures quickly before the kids decide they are done or blink, and the picture quality is awesome, and it only cost $69, oh and I had been saving my haircut earnings up for a little bit (thinking I would have to spend way more) so I even paid CASH! I can't guarantee that I will take more pictures now but I will certainly try!
So say hello to my new camera, the Kodak EasyShare M530, it is supposed to be great for facebook and such too, but we don't facebook so I wouldn't know.

I'm excited for you! Looks nice! Can't wait to see your first batch of pics. :) It makes a huge difference having a camera small enough to just stick in your pocket or purse.
