Aprons

My super talented sister in-law did a post recently about making aprons- you can see it here. I have done these before and decided it was time to make new ones for the kids, and myself....then I decided Tyler needed one that was not all flowery and was long enough for his tallness. Here are the ones I made.
Tyler's apron is so long that it didn't all make it in the picture.

I did them almost exactly like Melissa, except instead of curving the lines by the armpit I cut them on a diagonal. I did the black one her way and then decided it was easier for me to press and sew if the line was not curved.
Then I only added a pocket on one, and I attached the straps a little differently ~after serging around all the edges and pressing the hem (I made it about 1/2 inch wide) I tucked the straps underneath the pressed hem and pinned them.- just make sure the strap lays nicely before sewing. Hopefully that makes sense. I have a love/hate relationship with sewing, and having ocd's about certain thing doesn't help, haha.

I think they turned out nicely, and I am excited to wear mine! Thanks for the inspiration Melissa!
