So when we moved here last year we sold our 4-plex. We didn't do a 1031 exchange, because we needed the funds for the new business. So we were planning on having a painful April 15th this year. I had been having nightmares that we would have to pay more then we put away and yadayada. Tyler came home from the Accountant's and said "You are not going to be very happy.... You are going to be REALLY SUPER HAPPY!" We were very pleasantly surprised when our Accountant told us that we owed a lot less then we had originally calculated. WAHOO! Now Tyler says I can get my bedroom set! We hope that all of you had a better than expected tax season too.
Nathan and I started a "Parent & Me" swim class today. He hung to my neck most of the time. I sure hope that he will get used to the idea, learn a lot, and have fun. I still want him to be cautious, but I really want him to start learning how to swim properly too.

Tax day was good for us too. Last year we owed $900. That's not only a lot of money but a ton of money to people that basically live from week to week. As always, Adam did a project for someone and we were able to pay tithing and pay our taxes. This year we got a whopping $160 back! Life is good!

I forgot it was tax day yesterday. We filed at the beginning of the year & spent our return on the basement.

how fun! I should see if they offer some sort of a swimming class here. I never thought about starting them in swimming lessons! And I'm glad the tax thing turned out okay! That must have been sooo stressful! You'll have to put up a picture of your new bedroom set when you get it!!!!!
